The best Dental Clinics in Barcelona have the best technology

The best dental clinics in Barcelona must offer the best service. It is essential that, in order to offer an excellent service, the dental clinic is made up of various parts such as the reception, waiting room, management and patient care offices, dental cabinets, storeroom, sterilization room etc.

But thanks to the technological advances that have emerged in recent years and the great benefit that can be drawn from them, technology now occupies an important place in dental clinics.

Technology to improve the efficiency of the dental practice

First, it is extremely important that the best dental clinics in Barcelona have good digital software that allows them to have control of the clinic and that has a large capacity to store patients’ medical records, manage appointments, organize X-rays, manage invoicing, etc. Nowadays, we can work paperless and be more efficient and sustainable.

As for taking impressions, in recent years, intraorally scanners have been developed that allow us to replace impression-taking with pastes and trays. The intraorally scanner allows us to take impressions of the patient on multiple occasions, and we obtain a virtual 3D record of the patient’s teeth. It increases precision and efficiency, reduces manufacturing time, is more hygienic and more comfortable for the patient.

CAD (Computer Aided Design) / CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) technology helps in the design and manufacture of dental prostheses. Thanks to this technology, dentists and specialists can design and manufacture dental restorations with greater precision and quality, reducing human error.

The best clinics in Barcelona are well-equipped

Once the impressions have been taken and the correct design has been made according to the patient’s needs, it is necessary to print it. The advantages of having a printer in the dental clinic means that it is not necessary to leave the clinic when you want to design something.

This allows a significant improvement for the patient and optimization of the agenda, as the patient does not have to go to different centers and can often have it finished in one day, which also favors patient-dentist confidence.

In the field of X-rays and radiographs, in order to have a dental clinic that is up-to-date in terms of technology, it is essential, apart from having machines to take bite wing and periapical radiographs, to have a CBCT (known as a low-radiation CAT scan).

This consists of a machine that generates X-rays which, by means of a scan, is capable of producing 3D images of teeth, bone, soft tissue and other anatomical areas such as nerves and maxillary sinuses. These machines generate less radiation than conventional CT scans.

It allows the clinician to have more information about the patient, so it is possible to make a more accurate diagnosis and consequently, a better treatment plan. It also helps, improves and facilitates the execution of the treatment which can be guided in 3D.

More technology, better treatment

Thanks to new developments, dental clinics are becoming more and more modern and have the latest technology. This fact facilitates the work of dentists thanks to the greater precision and reliability they obtain and, as a consequence, a better diagnosis and execution of the treatment plan.

It also favors the patient, as being in a digitally advanced clinic makes them feel more secure, generating a greater bond of trust with the dentist, because the dentist is able to obtain all the patient’s information for their study and obtains greater efficiency in their treatment visits.

Nart Clínica Dental Barcelona uses all the existing digital technological advances on a daily basis and this enables its patients to receive non-invasive, painless, comfortable and very efficient and agile treatments.
