The patient came to the clinic for pain in the second quadrant. She had a caries lesion in the distal part of the first upper molar with an old root canal that did not meet the radiographic success criteria. Chewing discomfort for the last month. We diagnosed symptomatic apical periodontitis and planned re-endodontics of the upper first molar. We attach initial and final radiographs of the treatment with subsequent reconstruction and placement of a cuspid covering on the same molar. The patient is currently in no discomfort and radiographic healing can be seen at the level of the apices one month after the subsequent treatment.
